World War II Day
On Monday 7th November 2022, Larch, Chestnut and Oak classes took part in a range of engaging activities linked to our History topic - World War II. During this fun-filled day, we were joined by a special "time travelling" guest who accompanied us to 1940's London during The Blitz. We explored what life was like through a combination of drama techniques, exercises and games. Thank you to all the children and adults that took the time to create their Evacuee/World War II inspired costumes - it truely made the day special! Please enjoy looking at the amazing day we had in the images below.
Even Winston Churchill made an appearance!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
