PE is on a Friday afternoon, but as we sometimes get the chance to go outside for PE, leave your kit in school all week!
- Please read 3 times to yourself in school, 3 times at home and 3 times to an adult at home to be a Reading Superstar! There are prizes and treats for children who reach this target on a regular basis!
Our topic leading up to Christmas is 'British Values and Traditions' and we are specifically interested in the history of traditions such as Santa Claus, Christmas puddings and Christmas trees in our country through the ages.
Our literacy work will be based on events from our brand new class book called 'The Night I Met Father Christmas', which has just been released by British comedian Ben Miller.
Art will also be based on Christmas traditions as we make our cards and calendars to proudly bring home and share.
Our Science will link to Electricity and circuits, which we will investigate in order to build our understanding of how things are powered.
We will proudly present our performance of 'Aladdin' nearer to Christmas, and rehearsals will commence straight after half term. We are all very excited about this half term and are keen to get cracking with our Christmas preparations!
Year 6 revision will begin this half-term with boosters starting soon. Use the link below to help you with your revision and keep and eye out for new updates coming soon..
