To all our lovely children in Maple Class,
We hope you had the most magical and merry Christmas and an extra special New Year! There's no doubt it's been a challenging year, but we thank you for your hard work and effort.
Although we are having to work from home, we are still all here for you and will continue to support and help you the best way we can. Learning has to look a bit different for now until we can all be together again safely.
To make sure we keep in touch, we will be doing a daily meet and greet via teams at 9:35 each morning, and will also have daily maths meetings each day via teams at 13:45. It is compulsory for you to attend and we look forward to seeing you there!
The things for you to complete are:
Purple Mash activities - 1 a day
Microsoft Teams activities - to be set daily by your teacher
Home Learning Pack activities - 1 a day (you can choose) Please scroll down and find 'Home Learning Menu 2' or 'Home Learning Menu 3'
RWI set 2 and 3 sounds
TTR - to be completed daily. Keep an eye out for emails telling you which times tables to practice.
Reading on Oxford Owl - make sure you email your teacher to tell them how many pages you have read each day and please ensure you are reading the correct book and the correct stage! Your teacher will tell you when it is time for you to books/ stages.
Please also find below some memory game and fine motor/ handwriting activities for your child to complete.
Please scroll down to 'resources' where you can also find lots of things to help you with your learning during your time at home. Should you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact The Maple Class Team via email over Purple Mash, through teams or by phoning the school office.
It is essential that learning continue to be carried out during these next few weeks whilst we are at home, and so all of your adults in Maple class will be checking that you are completing all of the work set to the best of your ability. Hopefully, it will be safe for us to reunite in school once again but for now continue to shine bright like the superstars you are!
Try your best as I know you will! Keep smiling and we will see you all safe and sound very soon. :)
