We love seeing children and families at the 'Little Library' in our School Office area!
At Kirkby Avenue Primary School, we know how important reading is at school and at home. During this difficult time with the cost of living crisis, we understand that books can be expensive, so the 'Little Library' gives an opportunity for all children and families to read new and exciting books.
The 'Little Library' is in the school office area and it’s a place where children can bring books from home that they have read to exchange for a different book - for free!
You can swap books as often as you want to and each time our ‘Little Library’ will have lots of exciting and stimulating books. We welcome any donations of books from children, all we ask is that they are in good condition so that they can be enjoyed by other families and children.
Check it out, we wonder if you will find any books from your favourite author? If not...put a request in with your class teacher, we can always look to see if we can add any of their books to the Little Library shelves!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
