Hello, my name is Miss Jones and I'm the nursery teacher. I enjoy playing out in the rain and jumping in the puddles. My favourite animal is a donkey.
We love to have fun in nursery, we sing lots of songs and read lots of stories. We enjoy role playing and acting out stories we have been reading. All the adults in nursery are excited to meet you all and we can't wait to sing and play.
My name is Mrs Hedge and I teach in Ash Class on a Monday and Tuesday. I am in school all week because I am also an assistant head teacher and SENCO. That means I look after lots of children right across school. I have worked at Kirkby Avenue for a very long time and have taught lots of boys and girls who are now grown ups! That makes me feel very old! I have two grown up boys of my own too, we love football and really enjoy going to matches. I love stories too and look forward to sharing lots of your favourites with you. We think very carefully about learning and how to make it fun for you so you will enjoy coming to school.
See you soon and we will all have fun learning together. Xx
My name is Mrs Allen and I am the teacher in Ash Class on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have worked at Kirkby Avenue for a very long time - my first ever class here will be taking their GCSEs this year!
At home, I have got a little dog called Ted and a 2 year old boy. That means that I have seen every episode of Peppa Pig many times, so I'll be able to talk to you about all of the characters! Maybe you can tell me about other TV shows that my little boy will like! My favourite story is 'Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy'. Come and tell me about your favourite stories.
Hi Everybody, hope you're all well.
